thrifted

some ramekins found at Vinnies, some 1950s some 1970s ranging between 50c and $1. They won't be used in the kitchen, they are ideal food and water bowls for the little ratties. Much better idea than buying the ceramic food bowls sold at the pet shops. They are tiny and range between $5-$8.
I think there is an alternative for just about everything to be found at the op shop.
What are your plans for the weekend? I REALLY hope to see Harry Potter. Pain and stiffness have made me wait for all the good movies to come out on dvd for a while now. But not so anymore, I am going to see Harry at the cinema, and take Bel too of course
I have finished TWO projects this week, (a big deal for me) I'll share them soon. It is a great feeling to be completing things and thinking of fresh new ones to start

Love your op shop finds and also your ideas for using them. I might use one for our guinea pigs who area always tipping over the plastic bowls. Hope you enjoy the movie, we are just having a quiet weekend doing housey things. Looking forward to seeing your projects! xo

Oh boy, that squarish flower dish is just awesome. And hear hear to using them for ratties?!
I hope your projects are enjoyable and progress happily...

love the ideas for the pet bowls. I am always thinking nice pet bowls are too expensive. I will take a trip to the oppy and see what I can find for our little one.

I am not doing much this weekend, I had my varicose veins stripped yesterday so I am a little incapacitated at the moment. I have been watching Gone With the Wind! Hope you enjoy your movies.

I think one of the main challenges for visiting an Op Shop is finding an alternative for what you find!

Those little ratties are going to be the envy of all the neoghbourhood rats with those fancy pants feeding bowls!

I hope your Harry plan comes together. Lucky ratties. Some of those ramekins look very familiar: childhood familiar!!!

oh I love ramekins I have some and made mini bread and butter puddings in mine...
but they are very useful for the
wee ratties...I must say...
I would love to see Harry Potter on the big screen but most of the time I too have to wait and see things on dvd...

Great idea for your op shop finds!

Hope you enjoy Harry Potter. We have to organise a baby sitter before we can go, because like you say, it's so much better at the cinema.
