Veuve Taylor

I am reading the most wonderful book for the second time. It is the story of Henrietta Taylor. As I have mentioned before I love to read the stories of people who move to France to start new lives. Henrietta's would have to be THE most compelling I have read.
Henrietta was living the great Australian dream in Sydney when she suddenly became widowed with two young children to care for.
In a state of grief and despair she packed up the kids and went to Europe to try and make sense of it all. LAVENDER AND LINEN is the SECOND part of the story.

Part ONE of the story is VEUVE TAYLOR meaning Widow Taylor but is now renamed ESCAPING. This is Henrietta's story of crippling grief through a haze caused by copious amounts of alcohol daily to get by. All the while in Europe trying to take care of her children. Sometimes even losing them. I waited 2 years for LAVENDER AND LINEN to be published so the story could continue, but you could read one after the other now. I am sure you will. It is a story of such courage and strength, but always entertaining with humour.
Henrietta now has a lifestyle most of us only dream about. It was such a journey for her and her family. I felt compelled to tell you about the books as they are such incredible reading.

OMG! That sounded so familiar that I went in search of a book in my bookshelf that I had read, and sure enough it by Henrietta Taylor, but it was called 'Escaping'. Does this mean there are now 2 sequels to the book I read?

I REALLY enjoyed that book.
