lovely lark

Sometime waaaaaay back in August I had a birthday.   I was given some fab presents.  My usual request is gift vouchers from either of my fave art stores.  I love being able to go and get what I need/want for the stash.   I did get said vouchers and still have one I haven't used yet.   I am savouring it for the day where art supply retail therapy is JUST what I need.    The voucher is for a shop here in town called Birchalls and I LOVE going there to shop.  Books galore downstairs and art supplies galore upstairs = heaven

Apart from my vouchers I got this wonderful pressie from my sister.  She saw on one of my previous posts I had shopped at Lark and could easily buy everything they have.  She jumped online and bought me this treasure.  I LOVE it soooo much.  It's in the same style as the bag I posted about, the vintage Asian kind of style I adore
isn't it beautiful...
and look..it's magic, it's three in one..love it
also something special from my Bestie along with the other goodies AND a gift voucher for art goodies from her, was this journal.  It's beautiful and I can NEVER have enough journals.  I usually have about three going at once for different things
and she also gave me this cool book.    It's about Phillipa Finch and I have since discovered there are lots of books and DVDs of Phillipa Finch.
the book is written in this cool journal style
just wanted to share these goodies, even though it's a wee bit passed my birthday....

It would seem friends and family know you well.
Sounds like you had a lovely birthday.

What lovely gifts. My tea came in a tin that kind of does that too, but yours is far more exciting. You will have a great time upstairs in Birchalls, I miss spending school's money there as if it was my own!!
New journal, so nice. I saw Phillipa on the ABC, is it Rachel Griffiths or Toni Collette doing the voice, I can't remember.

Happy belated Birthday Linda! Birchalls is good fun, I'm very impressed with their range of children's board books.

I saw bits of Phillipa Finch on ABC, Toni Collette did the narration. I loved the artistic style but the story was a bit too depressing for me. :-)
